3. Incense & Lamp: Place the bead in your pooja area, light incense and a ghee lamp.
4. Mantra Chanting: Facing North or East, chant the Beej Mantra "Om Hreem Hoom Namah" Or "Om Namah Shivaya" exactly 108 times using a japa mala.
5. Wearing: Wear the bead (strung in silk/wool thread or capped in silver/gold) and touch it to your forehead before placing it around your neck.
